What are Amount and Service Gift Cards?

Zenoti allows you to sell the following two types of gift cards:

  • Amount: Amount gift cards are sold for a specific price. For example, if a guest wants to purchase a gift card for $100 and intends to let the recipient enjoy it for any service or product of their choice, then the guest can simply purchase an amount gift card for $100 from your center. The recipient can later redeem the amount gift card for any item worth $100. If the gift card amount is lower than the total invoice amount, then the recipient pays the difference using other payment methods (cash/card/check).
Note: Based on the organization settings, amount gift cards can be sold with same or different price and value.

  • Service: Service gift cards are sold for a specific service(s) as against a specific amount. For example, if a guest wants to gift a Sports Deep Tissue Massage for someone, they could buy a Sports Tissue Massage gift card for the same price at which that service is offered in your center. So, if the price of the Sports Tissue Massage is $100, the guest pays $100 for the gift card. The gift card can however be redeemed for any other item offered in your center. If the service gift card amount is lower than the total invoice amount, then the recipient pays the difference using other payment methods (cash/card/check).
Note: All service gift cards come with the same price and value.
