Employee Overtime and Therapist Request Bonus

 

Overtime Pay

You can give an overtime pay to those employees who work beyond their established timings. You can configure the number of hours working above which, the employee would be eligible to receive an overtime pay. You can also configure the number of times the pay must be multiplied with to derive the overtime amount. You can pay an overtime only where the hourly rate is not zero.

This is however applicable to only those employees who receive their pay on the actual check-in and check-out time. To enable employee payment based on actual check in and check out, perform the following steps:

  1. Ensure that you are at the Center level and in the Admin mode.
  2. In the Admin Dashboard, click Centers.
  3. Click the name of the center.
  4. Go to the Settings tab.
  5. Click the Employee accordion.
  6. Against Calculate Payroll Hours Based on, select the 

To configure overtime pay for an employee, perform the following steps:

  1. Ensure that you are at the Center level and in the Admin mode.
  2. Go to the Employee tab. 
  3. On the Employee Dashboard, click Employees.
  4. Click the name of the employee.
  5. In the General tab, against Daily Overtime, you will see the following two fields:
    Above: Enter the number of hours above which the employee would be eligible for overtime pay.
    Multiplier: The number of times the regular hourly pay should be multiplied with.
  6. Click Save.

Request Bonus

You can reward a therapist, whose services have been specifically requested for by a guest, by giving a bonus in the form of a flat amount to the therapist every time the therapist's services are requested.  For example, if you enter $5 as the Request Therapist (RT) bonus, and the therapist has 10 requests, then the bonus amount for the selected pay period will be 10*5= $50.

Note that the employee will receive this bonus irrespective of the service commission settings.

To configure the Request Therapist amount, perform the following steps:

  1. Ensure that you are at the Center level and in the Admin mode.
  2. Go to the Employee tab. 
  3. On the Employee Dashboard, click Employees.
  4. Click the name of the employee.
  5. In the General tab, in the RT Bonus field, enter the flat amount for each request.
  6. Click Save.
