Reviewing Product History

A product in inventory can go through several stages, for example, delivered by the vendor, checked out from store to floor, converted from Retail store to Consumable store and so on. To review the life cycle of a particular product or the product ledger, you can look at the Product history page.

How do I look at a product life cycle?

To look at a product life cycle, perform the following steps:

  • Click the Current Stock link under Retail (to look at product life cycle of a Retail product) and click the Current Stock link under Consumables (to look at product life cycle of a Consumable product).

You can look at the various stages the product has been through and also how the product quantity and value was updated at each stage. Choose a time duration from the drop down list to look at the product history in a particular window of time. Click the Excel, CSV, or PDF links to export this information to other formats.
