FreedomPay Integration

Note: Zenoti supports FreedomPay integration only in USA and Canada. After you integrate FreedomPay with Zenoti, you can use the Ingenico iPP350 payment terminal and collect payments. If you do not have the Ingenico iPP350 payment terminal or if you have not configured it, contact FreedomPay.

Overview

Zenoti supports FreedomPay payment processor for online credit card processing and webstore transactions. You can also set up multiple terminals to process payments.

Before you Begin

Before you configure FreedomPay in Zenoti, you must complete the following:

  • Install FCC server on a computer in your center and make a note of the IP address. You will need this IP address (of the computer on which you have the FCC server installed) when you configure FreedomPay in Zenoti.
  • Install FCC client on every computer that will have Ingenico iPP350 payment terminal connected for taking payments.

Configure FreedomPay in Zenoti

You can configure FreedomPay for your entire organization or for specific centers. If you configure FreedomPay at the center level, the center settings override the organization settings.

To configure FreedomPay in Zenoti:

  1. To configure FreedomPay at the center level, select the desired center and navigate to Admin > Centers.
    The Manage Centers page opens.
    Note: To configure FreedomPay for the entire Organization, navigate to Admin > Organization > Organizations and skip to step 3.
  2. Click the name of your center.
    All center settings categorized by tabs appear.
  3. Click the Payment tab.

  4. Expand Integrated Payment Processing.
    The Payment Processor settings appear.
  5. If you are setting up FreedomPay for a center, ensure that you select Use center settings checkbox, and from the Payment Processor field, select FreedomPay.
    The Processor Settings (selected by default) and Terminal Settings appear.

  6. Enter your Store Id, FCC Server URL, and Terminal Id
    Note: FCC Server URL is the IP address of the computer that you have installed FCC server on. For Store Id and Terminal Id, contact FreedomPay.
  7. Based on your requirements, select the following fields:​

    • Enable credit card processing in POS: Allows Zenoti Payments to collect card payments through the desktop POS.

    • Save credit cards in POS: Allows Zenoti to save credit card details in the desktop POS and use saved credit card details for payments.

    • Enable credit card processing in Webstore: Allows Zenoti Payments to collect card payments in Webstore.

    • Save credit cards in Webstore: Allows the guest to save credit card details in the Webstore and use saved credit card details for payments.

  8. Click Terminal Settings.
    If you are configuring a terminal for the first time, an Add Terminal link appears.

  9. Click Add Terminal and complete the following fields:

    Field Name Description
    Terminal Name Enter a name of your choice for  the terminal. 
    WorkStation Id Enter the name unique to the workstation. This name is configured in the configuration files. Read More here.
    Default  Select this checkbox if you want to make this terminal the default. The users can select other available terminals while initiating a payment. 
  10. Click Save And Close. The terminal name appears on the screen.
    Note: You cannot delete a terminal if it is the only one that is configured.

  11. To add another terminal, click the Add Terminal link, and repeat steps 9 and 10.
    You have successfully integrated FreedomPay with Zenoti and can now collect card payments in Desktop POS and Webstore.

Process Card Payments from POS

After you integrate Zenoti with FreedomPay, you can collect card payment from POS.

To process card payments:

  1. Launch the POS window for the appointment for which you want to process payment.
  2. On the right hand side of the POS, under the Collect Payment section, click Credit/Debit.
    The default terminal for the employee is selected.

    Note: If you have more than one terminal, an option to change the terminal appears. If you want to change the terminal, click Change, and then select a terminal from the list that appears.
  3. Enter the amount and click Add Payment.
    A prompt asking you to select a card on file or use a new card appears.

    Note: You must be aware of the following:
    • The saved card appears only if the guest has a stored card.
    • If you select the saved card and click Pay, the transaction completes and the details are updated in Zenoti.
    • If the guest does not have a saved card, only the Use a new card option appears.
  4. If the guest does not have a stored card or prefers not to use it, select Use a new card and click Pay.
    A transaction processing window opens.
  5. Swipe, dip, or tap the card on the Ingenico iPP350 payment terminal to complete the transaction.
    The payment is complete and the transaction details are updated in Zenoti.

Process Webstore Transactions

After you integrate Zenoti with FreedomPay, guests can make card payments on Webstore as follows:

  1. Guests log in to the Webstore, make a purchase, and come to the Payments Screen.

  2. Guests click Pay Now.
    A prompt asking the guest to select a card on file or use a new card appears.

    Note: You must be aware of the following:
    • The saved card appears only if the guest has a stored card. 
    • If the guest selects the saved card and clicks Pay, the transaction completes and the details are updated in Zenoti.
    • If the guest does not have a saved card, only the Use a new card option appears.
  3. If the guest does not have a stored card or prefers not to use it, the guest selects Use a new card and clicks Pay

  4. Guests enter their card details and click Submit.
    The transaction details are updated in Zenoti.
